Support for ORCID in Publishing Systems

ORCID member systems

ORCID member systems are able to receive support from the ORCID team in their integration, as well as badges for having attained the corresponding level of Collect & Connect

Editorial Manager/ProduXion Manager (Aries Systems)

Aries supports journals in encouraging authors, coauthors, reviewers, and editors to connect their authenticated ORCID iDs to their accounts within customer implementations. Editorial Manager/ProduXion Manager supports use of either the ORCID Public or Member API. More information. Support for ORCID as a sign in option is automatically enabled, support for ORCID as a registration option can be enabled by contacting Aries support.

Members using Editorial Manager do not need to test their integration on the ORCID Sandbox. When applying for credentials, mention that you are using Editorial Manager in the notes field.

Collect & Connect: Members using Editorial Manager/ProduXion Manager may qualify for up to the Connect badge.

 


Open Journal Systems (PKP)

Open Journal Systems (OJS) is an open-source platform which enables authors to connect their authenticated ORCID iD to their accounts. OJS supports use of either the ORCID Public or Member API from version 3.0 onward.

Members using OJS do not need to test their integration on the ORCID Sandbox. When applying for credentials, mention that you are using OJS. 

Collect & Connect: Members using OJS may qualify for up to the Connect badge.


ScholarOne Manuscripts (Clarivate Analytics)

ScholarOne Manuscripts enables customers to allow or require authors to connect their authenticated ORCID iDs to their accounts. ScholarOne Manuscripts supports use of either the ORCID Member or Public API.
